A new target fabrication scheme has been published in the FED journal

Mr. Iwasa, a DC student of the target development group, has reported a scheme to fabricate Cu-oleate microspheres in a Fusion Engineering and Design journal.

Cu atoms contained in the microspheres are required for spectroscopic measurements of relativistic electron transport, laser-to-fuel energy coupling, and electron temperature of a heated plasma. Fast ignition experiments could not be performed without this achievement.

We appreciate the significant contribution and congratulate them.
