LF group welcomes two new Chinese students.
Chang LIU (International Physics Courses, Graduate School of Science, D1)
Research interests: High energy density physics, X-ray spectroscopy, and Laboratory astrophysics.
There are many mysteries in the universe. I hope I can make some contribution to solving these puzzles. ILE is one of the few places which we can rebuild the astrophysical environments in the laboratory. I am glad to be a member of ILE and do some research about physics. My goal is making some efforts to our understanding of the cosmos. The experiment is a special way to research astrophysics, I believe we will get exciting breakthroughs in the laboratory.
Huan LI (Spatial research student at Insitute of Laser Engineering)
I am a special research student at Institute of Laser Engineering, Osaka University, and I come from Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics. (2nd Ph.D. student). I will study the transport of relativistic electron beams accelerated by high-intensity laser light and try to guide the electron beam by using self-generated magnetic field.
