Solid sphere compression has been published in APL.

Laser-driven compression of a solid sphere target for fast ignition study has been published in Applied Physics Letters.
This is a result of international collaboration led by Dr. Sawada (University of Nevada, Reno & specially appointed assistant professor of Osaka University).
Seungho Lee, D2 students of our group, contributed significantly to this work.
We are now trying to increase the compression fuel density by using tailored laser pulse and a solid sphere target.
